La campagne d’essais du Suffren, premier de six SNA de la classe Barracuda, vient de débuter. Le but de ces opérations est de permettre à la DGA et à la Marine nationale de mettre en œuvre et tester à la mer la performance du bâtiment. La livraison du Suffren est prévue cette année.

The Suez Canal is a 120-mile long narrow channel that connects the Mediterranean Sea to the Red Sea. The expedited transit of ABECSG through the Suez and into the 5th Fleet area of operation demonstrates the flexibility of a multinational, multi-platform unit.
